Experience: Managing Consultant (minimum 5 years of relevant work experience)
Start with a permanent contract
Organizations are moving at high speed alongside digitalization, sustainability, and a changing labor market. As a Managing Consultant within Organization, Purpose & Strategy (OPS), you play a key role in shaping and realizing strategy by (re)designing the organization and guiding transformations. You help clients make their organizational design, governance, culture, and way of working future-proof, and you translate complex issues into concrete changes.
You bring experience, think along at a strategic level, and are able to translate complex challenges into concrete transformations.
You do this, for example, by redesigning operating models, guiding change processes around new processes and IT platforms, and supporting organizations in the adoption of solutions such as SAP, Microsoft 365, Google, or Atlassian. You respond to developments such as AI-driven transformation, the growth of integrated digital platforms, and the movement towards adaptive, agile organizations. Based on your expertise, you deal with (agile) organizational design, effective portfolio management, and scaling up new ways of working so that teams and functions perform better as a whole.
As a Managing Consultant:
· You are (co-)responsible for designing and realizing complex transformations, from strategy to implementation.
· You deal with structuring and digitalizing core processes of organizations, or shaping a new organizational unit.
· You have a leading role in shaping the project approach, managing the project team, reporting on substantive progress, and client dialogue.
· You recognize opportunities where we can support the client with their challenges and translate client questions into transformation programs that make organizations more agile.
· You develop and maintain a client network within a sector for which you have an affinity.
· You bring in organizational and transformation trends and help translate these into our OPS themes such as Business Agility and Strategic Organizational Design.
· You know the trends surrounding AI and what impact this has on clients.
· You coach less experienced colleagues and actively contribute to knowledge development within the OPS team.
No two days are the same, and that makes the work challenging and fun.
Your home base at Capgemini Invent: Organization, Purpose & Strategy
You work within the OPS team, part of the Workforce & Organization practice. A close-knit, young, and ambitious team of about thirty colleagues working on leading transformations primarily in the public sector, energy & utilities (ET&U) market, and the Consumer Products, Retail and Distribution (CPRD) sector.
· A team that stands for collaboration, innovation, and helping each other forward.
· An international network in more than 50 countries.
· Plenty of room for personal development, coaching, and professional growth.
· Regular team activities, lunches, and Invent outings.
· Access to our active staff association with, among other things, movie nights, ski trips, and an annual sailing competition.
We find it important that you can create your own path, and we help you to shape that.
You are analytically strong, bring structure, switch gears quickly, and move smoothly within change and complex situations. You are curious, people-oriented, and have a natural drive to make organizations better. You derive energy from optimizing team performance and ensuring continuous development within the team. You enjoy identifying strategic opportunities to help clients tackle the challenges they face.
In addition, you have:
· A completed WO Master's degree (e.g., business administration, organizational sciences, change management, sociology, or similar).
· At least 5 years of relevant professional experience related to consultancy, project/change management, or change processes, and experience with managing teams/groups.
· Experience with (re)designing organizations, strategy execution, digital transformations, change science, or agile working is a strong plus.
· Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
· A proactive attitude and the motivation to grow both substantively and personally.
· Excellent command of Dutch and English.
· Plus: specialization in a specific domain or market segment (Public Sector, Financial Services, Consumer Goods & Retail, and Energy & Utilities)
· Plus: experience in consultancy and/or advisory roles
Does the role appeal to you but you are below this level of experience? Or do you have more experience? Then look at:
· Consultant Organization, Purpose & Strategy (less than 2 years of work experience)
· Senior Consultant Organization, Purpose & Strategy (more than 2 years of work experience)
· Senior Managing Consultant Organization, Purpose & Strategy (more than 9 years of work experience)
· A permanent contract immediately and a suitable salary
· A mobility allowance of 800,- gross per month, where you can choose a lease car, NS-businesscard, or payout of your travel allowance.
· Extensive possibilities for following courses and training appropriate to your role and personal development.
· 26 vacation days and, of course, an 8% holiday allowance on your salary. Want even more free time? You can buy extra days.
· A pension where the employer's share is fully paid, and the choice to supplement it yourself, so that you will also look back on Capgemini Invent with pleasure in your old age.
Work wherever you want with our connectivity and work-from-home allowance.
A fast laptop and a SIM card that you may also use privately.
