Project Management Lead - Industrial & Logistics

For our Project & Development Services (PDS) department in Utrecht, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Industrial & Logistics to join our team.

What you'll do

  • Managing the project management team for Industrial & Logistics
  • Actively contributing to acquisition processes.
  • Guiding the design process, internally and externally to clients and executing parties
  • Guiding end users
  • Guiding the engineering phase.
  • Guiding the execution phase, both in broad outlines and in detail
  • Maintaining an overview and monitoring the finances and risks of projects.
  • Maintaining a helicopter view and stepping in where necessary.
  • Managing a team of approximately 5-10 project managers.
  • Thinking strategically about the future of the department.
  • Providing an active contribution to the growth of the department.
  • You report to the Lead project management.

What will you do?

As Project Management Lead - Industrial & Logistics, you will be part of our Project & Development Services (PDS) department, a versatile team of about 60 specialists. From design studio and project managers to sustainability advisors and technicians. Together, we work on improving the built environment by making it more sustainable, (re)developing, and providing functional layouts.

The Industrial & Logistics team focuses specifically on advising, designing, managing, and realizing industrial and logistics real estate for, among others, end users and investors.

In this role, you are involved both substantively and operationally in projects and you also lead the team. You actively contribute ideas regarding the strategic direction of the Industrial & Logistics team within PDS and work intensively with other departments to arrive at integrated solutions for our national and international clients.

You constantly switch between challenges regarding budget, quality, organization, and time. Additionally, you are part of the leads team within PDS, where strategic topics are central.

As the face of the team, you provide direction to our commercial activities and play a key role in securing new assignments. You regularly have contact with colleagues within our international EMEA network, which gives your role an international dimension.
