As a mechanic at Strukton Civiel Nederland, you ensure that our entire fleet is technically in good order. You will work in the workshop in Leerdam and will regularly be on the road to carry out work on projects throughout the country. Variety is guaranteed and there is plenty of room for development.

This is what you will be doing, among other things:

• Preventive maintenance and repairs to, among other things, civil engineering equipment and construction site equipment.
• Locating and resolving faults on location.
• Performing inspections, testing, and maintenance of our equipment.
• Thinking along about improvements in maintenance plans.

You will join the equipment service in Leerdam: a team of 13 colleagues with a workshop manager who is always ready to guide you. We maintain equipment for national projects of Strukton Civiel Nederland. The atmosphere is collegial and, alongside the hard work, we also make time for socializing. A team party committee organizes a BBQ and an end-of-year outing every year. This is how we keep the work fun and the mutual bond strong.

You are someone who works independently, but also switches effortlessly with colleagues when necessary. You think in solutions, are flexibly deployable, and participate in on-call services, which take place once every 4 weeks. You find it important to work safely and in a structured manner. You communicate clearly and feel responsible for the work you deliver – whether that is in the workshop or at a project location.

What you bring:

• An MBO diploma in a technical field
• Or: no diploma, but demonstrable work experience in maintenance or assembly
• Driving license B and E (or you are willing to obtain E)
• In possession of a VCA certificate and GPI certificate (or you are willing to obtain these in the short term)
• Good command of the Dutch language

We value your commitment and offer the following in return:

• A good salary between €3,400 and €4,000 per 4 weeks, depending on your experience and the performance bonus we agree upon. 
• 30 vacation days per year according to the Bouw & Infra CAO.
• A generous individual budget on top of your salary, including holiday allowance. You choose: extra days off (up to 18 extra) or extra income. Your individual budget is saved in the Time Savings Fund. This allows you to easily build up a financial nest egg for later.
