Household Support Worker Plus

You are calm, reliable, and stand firm in your shoes. You have an eye for the household and for the person behind the front door.

Additionally:

• Do you have experience with household work;

• Do you have experience with or an affinity for GGZ (mental healthcare), psychiatry, or complex home situations;

• Do you have your own transport, for example a bicycle or car;

• Do you speak and understand sufficient Dutch to communicate well with clients and colleagues.

You work in people's homes. Therefore, please take into account that some clients have pets.

You will visit people in their homes who, due to mental vulnerability, have difficulty keeping their household in order. You help with cleaning, tidying up, and providing structure.

But your work goes beyond housework. For example, you make time for a chat, a listening ear, or a walk. You look closely at how someone is doing and signal changes. Do you notice something? Then you discuss this with your colleagues.

Sometimes a client may resist your help. In those cases, you remain calm, friendly, and clear. You understand that this can be part of the situation and show that you are there to help, not to judge.

You will work in clients' homes in Rotterdam and surrounding areas. We have clients in various regions, including Rotterdam-Noord, -Zuid, -Oost, -West and Centrum, Hoek van Holland, Spijkenisse, Hoogvliet, Pernis and Rozenburg.

Together, we will see which region best fits where you live. This way, you won't have to travel unnecessarily far.

You work independently, but you are not alone. You can always rely on your colleagues and team leader.
