As a sleep warden at Kwintes, you work at night in a role in which you provide clients with safety and support.
Why this is perfect for you as a student
You work (sleep) at night and the position is for a maximum of 2 nights per week, which leaves you room during the day for school, internships, or a side job.
You gain relevant experience with clients who have a mental vulnerability.
You can always rely on the on-call service.
During the night (23:00-7:00), you can sleep, of which 4 hours are paid with an unsocial hours allowance. If you are woken up during the night, these hours will be compensated.
From approximately 22:00 to 8:15, you are present on location. You start with a handover from the residential support team, possibly visit clients, and ensure that it is quiet on location by 23:00. At night you can sleep, but you are available for emergency assistance requests. Often, a listening ear is enough. Should you be unable to resolve a situation, you can always call the on-call service. You remain calm, clear, and person-centered in your actions. This position is very easy to combine with your healthcare studies and offers exactly that practical experience that you build upon in your lessons and internships.

You work as a sleep warden at a Kwintes sheltered housing location. Here, adults aged 18 and older with a mental vulnerability live, receiving daily guidance on their way toward more independence. A separate sleep warden room is available at every location. You are never alone, because you can always call the on-call service if necessary. At some locations, a waking warden is present, who performs the initial triage during the night. During the day and in the evening, there is a team of personal assistants, residential support workers, support staff, sleep wardens, residential care workers, and household staff. At night, you are the fixed point of contact and ensure peace and safety, always in connection with the team.
We are looking for sleep wardens in various regions. The recruiter would be happy to look with you to see where the opportunities are!
