The role

What you will do

Do you want to lead a team and at the same time be present on the floor yourself?

This assignment runs for a longer period, at least 32 hours per week, at one location in The Hague. You will become part of the team. No changing faces, no constant re-onboarding.

You will hear from us within one working day. Always, even if it is a no.

It saves us both time: without a completed diploma in healthcare or welfare, we cannot do anything for you. Our clients simply will not place you in a group then. Which diploma you need is listed under Is this for you. A foreign diploma counts as soon as Nuffic or IDW has evaluated it.

The activities take place within a residential care environment for adults with an intellectual disability and challenging behavior. The clients live in small-scale groups and have a need for structure, predictability, and a clear approach. In addition to daily guidance, there is much attention to meaningful daily routines and activities that contribute to the quality of life, such as walking, sports, creative activities, and relaxation. You will work together with a dedicated team that commits itself daily to providing clients with a safe, stable, and homely living environment.

As a working supervisor, you combine managerial tasks with providing care and guidance on the work floor.

  • Coaching, guiding, and directing the team in daily practice.
  • Participating in the direct guidance of clients with challenging behavior.
  • Monitoring the quality of care and supporting colleagues in complex situations.
  • Stimulating a safe, structured, and predictable living environment for clients.
  • Collaborating with practitioners, relatives, and other involved disciplines.

You build a bond with the same clients and you see the results of your guidance. You work according to a schedule that you know in advance.

You will be employed on a secondment basis by GOED. and work for the client. Your salary, your contract, and your guidance are managed through us.

What you earn

  • Salary in accordance with CAO Gehandicaptenzorg, job group 50: €3,296 to €4,705 gross per month based on 36 hours. Amounts as of September 10, 2026. Scaling depends on your diploma and your experience.
  • 8% holiday allowance and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 47% at night, and 52% on the weekend. A weekend shift therefore yields up to €45.69 per hour.

How it works when you apply

  1. You submit your application. Short and powerful is fine.
  2. You will hear from us within one working day.
  3. You schedule your own online introduction, at a time that suits you.
  4. In a follow-up interview, we will discuss your wishes and your experience.
  5. You will get access to your own GOED. environment.
  6. You receive your agreement, in black and white.
  7. You choose your first shift.

What else you get

  • Your BHV (Emergency Response), administering medication, and aggression regulation are free of charge, provided by GOED.academy.
  • A contract with fixed hours and a schedule that you know in advance.
  • One permanent position, so that you truly get to know your clients.
  • Holiday pay, vacation days, travel expense reimbursement, and pension accrual.
  • If this assignment ends, we will look for the next one. You do not need to apply again.

Does this suit you?

  • A higher professional education (HBO) diploma in the field of care and welfare.
  • Experience with coaching and directing care teams.
  • Affinity with clients with an intellectual disability and challenging behavior.
  • You know how to provide calm, structure, and clarity to both clients and colleagues.
  • You work methodically and hold quality of care in high regard.
  • You are strong in collaborating, communicating, and guiding change processes.
  • Experience with complex care and preferably with the Triple C methodology is an important advantage.
  • Experience within disability care is an advantage.
