Are you the sparring partner who understands and optimizes the technical side of complex medication processes in the hospital? Do you understand both the software and the technology behind it, and do you know how to think along with the healthcare professionals in the hospital pharmacy about what is needed? Then this is your chance to fulfill a key role as an application administrator within our progressive hospital pharmacy.
Our modern hospital pharmacy provides pharmaceutical care to both clinical patients as well as various residential care centers in the region and in home settings. The department consists of approximately 75 employees, including 6 hospital pharmacists and 40 pharmacy assistants. You are the technical specialist who manages and continuously optimizes our pharmacy equipment and systems, so that everything continues to function optimally.
The hospital pharmacy is responsible for the complex, often automated and multidisciplinary medication processes in the hospital. You apply your technical knowledge to software solutions, but just as importantly for the adequate functioning of the hardware, think of the many automatic medication dispensing systems in the hospital (Omnicell) and the fully automated warehouse in the hospital pharmacy (BD Rowa Robot). You are co-responsible for performing updates and upgrades to these systems. You are also the first point of contact for software and technical malfunctions of the existing applications. In the event of malfunctions, you know how to quickly assess the severity and find a practical solution (if necessary, with a ruler and wrench). If it concerns a more complex malfunction, you are the point of contact for both the supplier and the healthcare provider.
You are a full partner for the pharmacists. You provide them with the technical knowledge needed to optimize and automate processes. You bring the right knowledge and people together, and you are the driving force in doing so.
The analysis of complex work processes is an important part of your work. You work independently, but also know how to involve other relevant employees in your problem or solution. On one hand, you are a driving force, but at the same time also a team player and simply someone colleagues can rely on.
With us, you will get plenty of room to continue developing, for example via the St Jansdal Academie or by further specializing within automation and process optimization.
You have demonstrable HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, preferably in a technical direction
You have experience with managing, updating, and optimizing technical pharmacy, healthcare, and/or hospital systems
Experience with work processes in healthcare or specifically in a (hospital) pharmacy is a plus
You are able to translate ideas from pharmacists into a workable process in technical execution, and are a full partner in doing so
You are analytically strong, have an eye for optimizing complex processes, and are able to grasp them quickly. You are proactive, communicatively strong, and effortlessly bring the right knowledge and people together when needed. You oversee processes in the hospital pharmacy and ensure that changes are implemented consistently.
We cordially invite both people at the beginning of their careers and experienced professionals with a technical affinity to apply.
A one-year contract for 32 - 36 hours per week with the intention to convert this into a permanent contract. The location is Harderwijk.
You are part of the hospital pharmacy team and work in a fun, stimulating work environment where, as an application administrator, you are close to the care processes. Via the St Jansdal academy, you can work (online) on your personal and professional development through goodhabitz trainings.
Are you enthusiastic?
