Medical Microbiology Analyst

In your role as an analyst, you support doctors and other requesters in the diagnosis and therapeutic treatment of patients. You contribute to treatment by:

• Performing diagnostic research on various patient materials.

• Executing both standard and complex medical microbiological analyses and reporting on the results thereof.

• Providing an active contribution to the development, quality, and professionalism of the laboratory and yourself as a professional.

Our Medical Microbiology department performs research within bacteriology, virology, and parasitology. For a hospital of our size, we perform a wide range of diagnostics ourselves. We work with many manual techniques, which contributes to the quality of our research. We have merged with the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory and work with one central reception. Additionally, there are many collaborations with various institutions and general practitioners in the Noordwest-Veluwe region.

• An HLO education in medical microbiology with professional competence in tasks.

• Relevant work experience is preferred, but if you have (nearly) completed your education, we also invite you to apply!

• Flexible availability regarding working hours (weekend and on-call shifts). Think of 2/3 on-call shifts + 1 weekend per month.

• You can be in St Jansdal Harderwijk within one hour during your on-call shifts.

• We start with a one-year contract for 24 - 36 hours per week with the intention, under unchanged organizational circumstances, to convert this into a permanent contract.

• The salary is classified according to scale 45 (FWG 3.0) and amounts to a minimum of € 3,228.-- and a maximum of € 4,3461.-- per month based on 36 hours per week.

• In addition, you will receive an 8.33% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%.

• For the on-call shifts, you will receive an allowance in accordance with the Hospital CAO.
