The role

Are you an all-round carpenter who knows how to roll up your sleeves, is creative, and always finds a solution? And do you want to apply your craftsmanship in a place where your work truly matters? At St Jansdal, you will literally help build the beating heart of healthcare in the region. Just with your hands, getting a little better every day.

You will work as an all-round carpenter at our project office. No two days are the same. Most of your time is spent working on construction (re)development projects in the hospital; additionally, you will take on maintenance tasks and (re)pair jobs. You will visit all departments, including those where patients are staying. In this way, you ensure that the hospital keeps running smoothly behind the scenes.

You will receive a lot of freedom and independence, within a friendly and hardworking team of professionals. Do you see an opportunity to do something smarter or better? Then we would love to hear it. Simply because standing still is not an option here.

Extraordinary work. Simply at St Jansdal.

At St Jansdal, you know the people around you. You greet each other by name, from the cleaning crew to the surgeon. The lines are short and you will see your supervisor right there on the work floor. As a new colleague, you will be personally welcomed from day one.

And there is plenty of construction going on. With new construction, a new clinic, a dialysis center, and a hospice care unit, there is plenty to do for a craftsman like you. Whether you are at the bedside or working behind the scenes: here you make the difference.
