You have a completed WU/HAS education (or equivalent working and thinking level with a solid background in the agricultural and/or food sector) and at least 3 years of work experience in the animal feed sector within a quality role.
Additionally:
You will enter an interesting and varied role as an Auditor with opportunities for advancement. As a stable and international company, in addition to an exciting work environment, we offer you:
SGS is the world leader in inspection, verification, testing, and certification and is considered the benchmark for quality and integrity. With an international network of more than 2,500 offices and laboratories and approximately 100,000 employees in over 115 countries, SGS helps organizations manage risks, improve processes, and meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
Within the SGS Group, SGS Business Assurance focuses on the certification and auditing of management systems. As an Auditor, you will work with internationally recognized standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 13485 and support organizations in structurally improving their performance. You will not only assess, but also provide valuable insights that allow customers to move forward.
What distinguishes SGS is the combination of independence, expertise, and impact. As an auditor, you will gain a unique behind-the-scenes look at diverse organizations and make a direct contribution to quality, safety, and trust in the market. At the same time, you will work within a dynamic, international organization that is constantly in motion and where innovation is central.
Working at SGS means choosing impact, freedom, and development. You will work independently, visit various customers, and receive a high level of responsibility in your role. At the same time, you will be part of a strong international network of professionals with in-depth knowledge.
SGS actively invests in your growth through training, career advancement opportunities, and a culture in which initiative and improvement are encouraged. In an organization that never stands still, you will contribute to sustainable quality as well as your own career.
Do you get energy from collaborating with people, do you find it interesting to take a look behind the scenes at various companies, and are you naturally curious? Then we have the perfect challenge for you!
In this position, your main task is the independent execution of GMP+ audits primarily at animal feed producing companies and their suppliers, such as transporters and traders. In addition to GMP+, we also perform schemes such as EFISC-GTP and FAMI-QS. Internationally, SGS AgroControl Netherlands plays a pioneering role in the field of GMP+ and, for example, as an auditor, you will also assist in assessing reports from other countries. Additionally, you will perform audits yourself in other countries within Europe. You will do this together with 8 other feed auditors, whereby the total AgroControl team in the Netherlands, including the back office (planning, administration, etc.), consists of approximately 45 colleagues.
In addition to performing the audits, your tasks consist of:
Based on a full-time week, you will be on the road on average 3.5 days a week to perform audits (traveling from home to the customer) and will spend 1.5 days a week working on the reports. Since you are therefore frequently on the road within the Netherlands (and occasionally abroad), your place of residence does not matter.
