The role

At Ditto, we are looking for someone who answers our users' questions daily and turns them into valuable insights 💙.

What you'll do

As a working student for User Insights, you are the first point of contact for our users. You don't just process tickets, but ensure that everything you see in the inbox truly ends up somewhere: with the Head of UX as a signal, with developers as a bug, and with design as usability issues. In doing so, you contribute directly to improving the Ditto app.

Who we are

Ditto is a healthcare app that helps people better understand the information in their medical journey. With the app, you record doctor appointments and receive a clear summary. This makes complex medical information more understandable and easy to share with the people around you.

We went live in 2025, have already been the number one healthcare app in the App Store, and have appeared in several newspapers. Our user base grows every day, and with it, the number of people with questions and ideas for improvement.

This role is part-time (24-28h), remote or hybrid (Rotterdam).

The tasks

Mandatory: You are ready for all questions and requests coming in from our active users, you think along with them, you process tickets efficiently, and you ensure that what you notice doesn't just sit there but is converted into broad user insights.

Practical

  • You manage the customer support inbox for 4 hours a day: friendly, solution-oriented, and with an eye for the user.

  • You manage the support hotline: during your scheduled working hours, you also answer the phone.

  • You act immediately on critical bugs: you forward them to the development team as a ready-to-go bug ticket in Linear.

  • You maintain an insights and research dashboard: you analyze the inbox to learn what is going well and what is not. At the end of the week, you report to the UX Lead which insights have been gathered. From usability issues to requests for improvement.

  • You keep the FAQs up-to-date: both in Notion as well as administration and on the website.

  • You create good support content: for example, a tutorial video that explains a functionality.

  • You handle requests from healthcare professionals: such as sending an information package to a department.

Bonus: you also get the chance to make the Ditto support department a party 💙.

Who you are

  • You are studying or looking for a part-time job that makes an impact.

  • You are empathetic and can assess whether someone is disappointed or just needs extra love.

  • You have an affinity with user research, usability, design, data, or marketing.

  • You speak and write fluent Dutch (native) AND English.

  • You find traveling to the office and hybrid working no problem

  • You are accurate and love structure

  • You have a research lens: you see patterns in tickets and want to know why something is going wrong, not just that it is going wrong.

What we offer

We are a small, fast-growing team. You will work directly with the founders and experienced professionals from various backgrounds. A rare opportunity to learn every day; you couldn't get a better look behind the scenes. Furthermore:

  • Views of the Rotterdam Skyline at the office

  • Filter coffee brewed in a Moccamaster

  • A laptop + business phone for the support hotline

  • A part-time contract with fair compensation (based on an hourly rate)
