Senior ICT Administrator

• At least MBO working and thinking level

• At least a completed MBO education (level 4) in the field of ICT

• Work experience with Microsoft 365 suite, VMware, Windows w2k16, w2k19, DNS/DHCP, Networking & Firewalls

• Demonstrable work experience in a similar position

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written

The ICT department is responsible for the development of policy and the realization of the ICT policy of Gate terminal. The senior ICT administrator is managed by the department manager and is responsible for supporting him in the areas of policy development, architecture, security, and the operational management of systems and networks. As a senior, he is often the first point of contact and works closely with the ICT administrator.

In the position of Senior ICT administrator, you are responsible within the IT department for the implementation and realization of ICT (user) policy, procedures, architecture, and security. You manage, optimize, and adapt hardware and systems so that they function adequately, are continuously available, and meet the wishes and (security) requirements of the user organization.

Whatever role you fulfill with us, you can always be a pioneer. In our organization, there is plenty of room for individual initiative. In this position, your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Supporting the ICT manager regarding ICT (user) policy and associated procedures and appropriate system integrations

• The (co-) development, optimization, and (project-based) implementation of ICT architecture and overseeing the required (technical) infrastructure

• The (co-) selection and implementation of standards for the design of the architecture

• The (co-) conducting of feasibility studies etc. in consultation with your supervisor

• The initiating and elaborating of innovations, replacements, cost reductions, etc.

• The management of licenses and releases, securing systems and data (including the entire Microsoft 365 suite: Azure, security, collaboration, and Intune), VMware, network monitoring (PRTG), and analyzing and advising regarding security policy including procedures and system components

• Inventorying relevant risks and advising management about them and implementing measures in consultation with CISO/ISO

• The (co-) analysis regarding an effective and efficient link between business needs and ICT policy and technical application

• The management and maintenance of standards and norms

• The maintenance of system and network management within the organization
