Claims Expert Tele

Would you like to use your analytical insight and communication skills to handle claims carefully and personally?

As a Claims Expert Tele, you investigate and assess various property claims. You do this entirely remotely, based on telephone conversations, photos, videos, estimates, and other available information.

With targeted questions, you clearly map out the situation, determine the extent of the damage, and ensure correct handling. In this way, you help clients and stakeholders move forward quickly, without the need for an on-site visit.

"Efficient remote damage assessment, with the personal attention that matters."

  • Patrick, Property Manager

Sedgwick supports people and organizations during damage, loss, and complex situations. Within claims expertise and claims handling, our colleagues combine specialist knowledge with personal attention. As a Claims Expert Tele, you contribute directly to this: with a careful assessment and clear communication, you help stakeholders and clients to move forward.

What you'll do

Within the Tele-Expertise team, you combine customer contact with investigation, assessment, and administration. No file is the same: every claim requires attention, sharp analysis, and clear communication.

Concretely, this means:

  • investigating the cause, circumstances, and extent of various claims;
  • collecting and assessing information via telephone, photos, videos, and estimates;
  • checking claim reports for accuracy and completeness;
  • determining and clearly substantiating the claim amount;
  • reporting to clients and other involved parties;
  • correctly registering and administratively closing files.

You work independently on files, but you are not alone. Within the team, there is room to share knowledge, ask questions, and arrive at the right solution together.

What you bring

For this position, we are primarily looking for someone who makes contact easily, listens well, and knows how to ask the right questions. Even when a situation is complex, you know how to maintain an overview and carefully arrive at a substantiated assessment.

  • creativity, empathy, and persuasiveness.

Why choose Sedgwick?

At Sedgwick, you get the space to work independently and yet rely on the expertise of colleagues. In the original job description, the Tele-Expertise team is described as young and creative, with a positive and collegial atmosphere.

In addition, you can count on:

  • varied files for different clients;
  • opportunities to develop yourself professionally and grow within the company;
  • access to internal and external training;
  • flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home;
  • 28 vacation days for full-time employment, with the possibility to purchase extra days;
  • 8% holiday allowance, a public holiday allowance, and a travel allowance.

The salary will be aligned with education and experience.

Ready to deploy your expertise remotely?

Would you like to handle claim files independently, have daily contact with different people, and be part of a collegial expertise team? Are you someone who prefers finding solutions rather than discussing problems?
