Claim Support Assistant

Are you an administrative jack-of-all-trades who also loves diving into the content?

Do you see yourself working at an international organization that has an eye for people?

Then read on quickly!

Make the difference at Sedgwick TPA

Within Cable & Infra, we handle damage, liability, subrogation, and collection files related to cables, pipelines, and other underground infrastructure. As a Claim Support Assistant, you ensure that the foundation of every file is correct. You process information, monitor actions, and support colleagues so that files can be handled carefully and on time.

Does that sound like your next challenge?

Your role

You are an important link within the Cable & Infra Team. You provide structure, progress, and reliable file information. You work closely with Claims Adjusters, Claim Handlers, and Collection Officers and have contact with clients, contractors, insurers, and other involved parties. You ensure that damage files are correct from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include

· Registering and processing new damage reports and files;

· Checking whether files are complete and requesting missing information;

· Processing and linking documents and correspondence;

· Monitoring deadlines and following up on outstanding actions;

· Maintaining telephone and written contact with involved parties;

· Supporting Claims Adjusters, Claim Handlers, and Collection Officers with administrative and light substantive tasks;

· Identifying deviations, incompleteness, and recurring bottlenecks.

What you bring

· MBO-4 work and thinking level;

· Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;

· You work accurately, maintain an overview, and set the right priorities;

· You communicate in a friendly, clear, and professional manner;

· You take initiative and discuss specifics in a timely manner;

· You enjoy working together and helping colleagues;

· You are digitally skilled and quickly master new systems and processes.

Experience is welcome, but not required. If you have experience with administrative tasks, claims handling, collections, insurance, or legal services, that is a plus. More important are your accuracy, eagerness to learn, and motivation. We will teach you the profession through a clear onboarding program and guidance from experienced colleagues.

What can you expect from us?

At Sedgwick TPA, you don't just choose a job, but a working environment in which you can truly make a difference. Together we thrive - caring for people and organizations. You can count on:

· An enthusiastic and engaged team;

· Flexibility: working from home after your onboarding period;

· Good facilities for working from home;

· Salary appropriate to your experience;

· 28 vacation days (full-time), with the option to purchase extra days;

· 8% holiday allowance;

· Pension scheme with a low personal contribution;

· Home office and travel allowance;

· Holiday allowance and the possibility to exchange recognized holidays for other recognized holidays;

· Free membership to the staff association;

· Internal and external training via Sedgwick University;

· Annual team outing & staff party;

· Lunch & Learn sessions;

· Access to a coach and budget coach.

Development and growth

You will build knowledge of damage, liability, subrogation, collections, and underground infrastructure. Depending on your development, interest, and the available opportunities, you can grow into roles with more substantive responsibility, for example, within claims handling or collections.
