ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A NEW ADVENTURE? NO TWO DAYS ARE THE SAME.
Are you looking for a varied job as an incident responder? Then you have come to the right place. At the start of your workday, you never know exactly what it will look like. Every report is different and requires a fast, professional approach.
As soon as the control room reports an incident, you and your colleagues jump into the vehicle. On the way, you gather information and prepare for the tasks that need to be carried out.
This could involve a serious incident on the highway requiring traffic measures, an oil spill in a port area that needs to be cleaned up, or a dumping of unknown chemicals that must be safely removed. As a specialist in emergency response and incident management, you make a difference every single day.
What you will do
As an incident responder, you will be involved in limiting and resolving the consequences of various incidents and emergencies. You will work closely with the incident coordinator and your colleagues on-site.
Furthermore, you will be involved in:
Fighting and handling incidents and emergencies;
Cleaning up hazardous substances and contaminations;
Implementing traffic measures during incidents;
Supporting cleaning and remediation activities;
Working with specialized vehicles and materials;
Advising clients on safety and incident management.

But even if you come from another industry and get enthusiastic about emergency response, we would love to get in touch with you.
At Wilchem, we believe you can learn this profession. That is why we invest heavily in your development. You will be guided by experienced colleagues and follow the training and certifications necessary to grow into a specialist in emergency and incident response.
Do you have a C driver's license, do you love to roll up your sleeves, and are you willing to work in a 24/7 schedule? Then we will train you to become a specialist.
