Claims Investigation & Recovery Associate (Unknown Perpetrator)
Do you enjoy gathering information, making connections, and finding answers where others get stuck? Are you accurate, investigative, and do you not give up easily? Then we have a challenging position for you.
Within our Cable & Infra department, you will handle files where cable or pipeline damage has occurred, but the perpetrator is not immediately known. By conducting investigations, analyzing information, and contacting the parties involved, you will attempt to determine who is responsible for the damage. In doing so, you will make an important contribution to the recovery of damages for our clients.

Claims Investigation & Recovery Associate (Unknown Perpetrator)
(16-40 hours per week)
As a Claims Investigation & Recovery Associate, you will independently handle files in which the perpetrator of damage is not immediately known.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
Investigating Unknown Perpetrator files;
Gathering, assessing, and analyzing information;
Approaching municipalities, contractors, grid operators, and other involved parties;
Recording investigation results and findings;
Assessing potential liability;
Drafting correspondence to the parties involved;
Monitoring deadlines and progress;
Contributing to an optimal result for our clients.
No two files are the same. One file may require administrative investigation, while another may require approaching various parties to bring the right information to light.
As a Claims Investigation & Recovery Associate, you already possess the necessary legal knowledge. You can work well independently and you are customer-friendly. You thrive in a dynamic, international environment. Furthermore:
You have an MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level;
You are available for at least 16 hours per week;
You are eager to learn and curious: you want to understand how things work;
You pick up new systems and working methods quickly;
You work accurately and leave nothing to chance;
You communicate easily with colleagues, customers, and other parties;
You have a good command of the Dutch language;
You are decisive and result-oriented.
You get energy from solving problems. You see it as a challenge to gather information, make connections, and bring files to a successful result. You are independent, take initiative, and are not easily discouraged when the answer is not immediately visible.

The department
Welcome to a dynamic and versatile department where collaboration and challenge are central. The work within the Cable & Infra department is anything but boring. Annually, we handle approximately 20,000 cable damages, ranging from large-scale infrastructure projects to smaller private incidents or situations that can affect everyone in daily life. Our department fulfills an essential role in the recovery of damages for leading grid operators, including KPN, Reggefiber, and Delta Glasvezeltechniek.
The team currently consists of 32 professionals engaged in various activities, including support, collection, legal assessment, and claims handling.
