Activity Coordinator Community Centers - Flexible Deployment

For our various community centers in The Hague, we are looking for an activity coordinator. You ensure that residents from the neighborhood have a fun and meaningful place for their day activities. You are flexible in terms of hours and location. We are expanding with colleagues because we are starting new initiatives. As an activity coordinator, you are responsible for the guidance process and the meaningful daily activities of the neighborhood residents. In advance, it is known which space is available in the schedule and which shifts can be filled by you. We also like to call upon you in the event of colleagues' illness or vacation.

You coordinate activities according to the wishes and possibilities of the visitors to the center, on an individual level and in a group setting.

• You have a completed MBO diploma at level 3, for example in the direction of care and welfare or hospitality. Do you have another diploma and can you indicate why you are suitable then we are open to that

• You are available on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM

• You have an affinity with (elderly) care 

• You are creative in thinking up activities

• You are down-to-earth, can handle challenges, have life experience, and can maintain perspective 

• The glass is always half full for you and you think in opportunities 

• You love to roll up your sleeves and not unimportantly, you have humor 

• Salary in FWG 35 CAO VVT, depending on knowledge and experience, up to max. €3,592.96 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week

• Pension accrual at Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn, 8% holiday allowance and 8.33% end-of-year bonus 

• A one-year contract, with a view to permanent employment if performing well
