QA Advisor

As a Quality Assurance advisor, you know the importance of working safely with food and know what to look out for. You advise customers in your region with all kinds of questions regarding quality and food safety. This way, we prevent food safety hazards together and combat food waste. In that way, you make an impact. Will you come to strengthen our team, so that everyone can enjoy good and safe food without worry?

As a quality advisor, you help food companies, trading companies, and/or transporters in your region to do a little bit better every day. But no day is the same. At one customer, you give the handbook an update, while at another, you help with achieving quality certifications. As Normec Foodcare, we have a large diversity of customers and assignments. Whether you have a preference for fixed customers or prefer to switch regularly, we can offer it to you. This allows you to build up a wealth of experience and knowledge, with which you can help new customers with their questions.

Although you often work independently at a customer site, you are part of a team of nearly 50 passionate QA advisors. Together, we possess a wealth of experience and knowledge. What you can expect:

• You will receive a salary between € 3,250 and € 5,000 gross per month based on full-time employment. This is partly dependent on your work experience

• You will receive a one-year contract at Normec Quality Assurance. If it suits both sides, you will have a view of permanent employment

• You will receive 25 vacation days + 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme

• The possibility to purchase extra vacation days

• You will receive a mobile phone, a laptop, and from 28 hours per week, also a company car. If you work fewer than 28 hours per week, you will receive a travel allowance

• You can perform the position both part-time (minimum 24 hours) and full-time

• As much as possible, consideration will be given to your place of residence, so that the commuting distance remains acceptable

We are looking for a QA Advisor for Normec Foodcare who creates value for the customer by arranging the best and most personal care in quality and food safety.

Further important for this vacancy:

• You possess an HBO or WO diploma in the direction of Food Technology, Food & Business, or a comparable food education

• You possess QA work experience, for example as a QA employee/manager or quality employee within food production. Because of this, you have experience in independently maintaining or setting up quality systems.

• Knowledge of product development and/or process technology is a plus

• Up-to-date knowledge of quality systems such as BRCGS, IFS, or FSSC 22000. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 is a plus

• You communicate fluently in Dutch, both orally and in writing

• You possess these competencies: entrepreneurial, independent, and customer-oriented. You can listen to the customer and motivate and persuade them to take quality awareness to a higher level

Should you have slightly less experience, we are also looking for a Junior QA Advisor.
