What we're looking for
You are a committed analyst who enjoys collaborating and working carefully. In addition, you possess:
A completed MLO or HLO education in chemistry
Experience with wet chemical and/or instrumental analyses gained during an internship or work experience

A one-year contract with a view to permanent employment
A salary of € 2,600 to € 2,800 gross per month based on full-time employment, depending on education and work experience
A working week of 32 to 40 hours in day shifts
27 vacation days for full-time employment and an 8% holiday allowance
A good pension scheme where employer and employee each pay 50% of the premium
A continuous development program in which you can further develop your talents
You receive €0.23 per kilometer in travel allowance, up to a maximum of €170 net per month for 5 working days
If you travel by public transport, the full costs will be reimbursed based on second class

The role
Become a Chemical Analyst at Normec Foodlab in Ede. You will get the chance to work daily with advanced laboratory equipment and perform wet chemical and instrumental analyses on a wide range of samples, including food, animal feed, and wastewater.
What you'll do
As a Chemical Analyst, you are responsible for performing various instrumental and wet chemical analyses within our laboratory. You work accurately according to established procedures and contribute to reliable and high-quality analytical results. You will be part of a team of +/- 12 analysts and report to the Chemistry Team Leader.
Your duties
Performing various wet chemical and instrumental analyses, including HPLC, IC, ICP-MS, Dumas, and TOC/TN
Pre-treating and analyzing samples
Interpreting, checking, and reporting analytical results
Identifying and resolving (simple) equipment malfunctions
Recording activities in the LIMS system
Your profile
A flexible and proactive work attitude. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves
Stress resistance, even during busy periods
A collegial and positive attitude
A strong sense of responsibility
Good communication skills in Dutch, both oral and written
