You have a completed HBO or WO degree in Civil Engineering, Technical Earth Sciences, or a similar field;
You have at least 4 years of relevant experience with geotechnical analyses and design challenges and are able to bring projects to a successful result independently;
You are customer-oriented, communicate easily with various stakeholders, and take ownership of your advice and projects;
You actively follow developments within the field and like to invest in your professional growth;
You have excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
The salary is between € 3,750 and € 4,750 depending on your existing and relevant experience. This amount is part of our salary range, with growth opportunities within the organization;
29 vacation days per year based on full-time employment (of which 4 are collectively designated by Fugro) and the possibility to purchase 12 extra leave days;

Do you want to work on complex geotechnical challenges within high-rise buildings, industry, water safety, and underground infrastructure? At Fugro, you will get the chance to guide projects from design to execution, work directly with clients, and make use of the expertise of the entire geotechnical chain.
As a Geotechnical Advisor, you are responsible for the planning, design, and results of diverse projects. From foundations and deep excavation pits to soil structures and pipeline routes: your advice forms the basis for safe, feasible, and cost-effective solutions. You stand close to the client, translate technical issues into practical advice, and work closely with specialists in soil investigation, hydraulic engineering, geohydrology, and laboratory analysis. Depending on your experience, you will fulfill the role of design lead or geotechnical discipline lead within multidisciplinary projects.
You advise on foundations, deep excavation pits, soil structures, pipeline routes, and site preparation;
You perform geotechnical calculations and analyses, including settlement calculations, bearing capacity calculations, stability analyses, and sheet pile/excavation pit calculations using Plaxis;
You translate research data into practical, safe, and cost-effective designs and advice;
You work closely with clients and fellow specialists and are involved from design to execution;
Depending on your experience, you lead junior advisors and act as a design lead or geotechnical discipline lead.
