HBO Intern Labelling, Specification Management and Process Improvement

Are you a student with an interest in quality management, process optimization, and the food sector? And do you enjoy not only investigating how processes work, but especially how they can be improved? Then this internship might be for you!

Within our organization, we work daily on specification management and labelling and artwork checks for various clients and sectors. We want to further professionalize our processes surrounding these checks and are therefore looking for an enthusiastic intern who wants to make an active contribution to this.

During this internship, you will investigate how our current processes regarding specification checks and artwork checks run and where the opportunities lie to improve them.

You will start with a baseline measurement: what is going well, what are we running into, and where are the risks? Based on this analysis, you will get to work on concrete improvement possibilities.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Performing a baseline measurement of the current processes and working methods

• Mapping and analyzing the current processes within, among others, Retail, Industry, and CompService

• Identifying risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process optimization

• Improving and further developing work instructions and processes

• Investigating how knowledge and information within the team can be better secured, for example, during changes in working methods or work instructions

• Investigating the current training needs and drafting a proposal for a suitable training plan

• Developing a proposal for monitoring and securing quality and knowledge

• Supporting the implementation of new or improved working methods

An internship in which you don't just participate within the organization, but receive a concrete improvement assignment with visible impact. You will be given the space to conduct independent research, engage in conversation with colleagues, and actually work out your ideas for process and quality improvement.

You will find yourself in an environment where quality and food safety are central, and in which your research can directly contribute to the further professionalization of our services.

• An internship allowance of € 450,- per month on a full-time basis

We are looking for an enthusiastic student who is curious, can look critically at existing processes, and enjoys thinking of improvements and making them practically applicable.

Ideally, you are following a degree in the direction of Food, Food & Business, quality management, business administration, or a similar program. Knowledge of QA and quality assurance is a plus. You certainly do not need to be an expert in this yet: the most important thing is that you have an interest in quality, processes, and continuous improvement.
