Building Acoustics Advisor

You are analytical, communicative, and curious. You ask questions, think along, and want to understand what you are doing and why. You have a passion for construction and sound and a sharp eye for quality.

Furthermore, you possess:

• A completed HBO degree in Civil Engineering or similar;

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience;

• Experience with Geomilieu and BOA is a plus;

• Good command of the Dutch language.

• Preferably a post-HBO education in environment and sound;

Location: Hybrid and at the office in Holten/ Nieuwegein/Eindhoven

Salary indication: Between €4,084 and €5,835 (depending on skills and experience)

As a Building Acoustics Advisor, you advise developers, architects, and contractors on integrating the aspect of sound into the development of buildings. You assess architectural designs for noise requirements and provide advice on necessary adjustments. In doing so, you make use of sound models and measurements. You work on diverse projects: from residential towers to wooden buildings, schools, museums, and hotels. Within the team, you work together with specialists who each have their own expertise within sound and acoustics.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:
- Assessing architectural designs for relevant noise requirements;
- Providing practically applicable advice;
- Working with sound models (Geomilieu) and performing sound measurements;
- Coordinating with clients such as developers, architects, and contractors;
- Contributing to knowledge sharing within the acoustics team.

A versatile position in which you can make a real impact within a people-oriented organization. You will be given the space to develop yourself, for example towards project manager or senior specialist.
