What does the role of Senior Inside Sales Representative look like?

As a senior inside sales representative, you possess a helicopter view and hold a connecting and coaching role within a team of 10 colleagues. These employees are responsible for the operational management of various customer accounts in close consultation with the Key Account Managers. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that customer requests are handled in a proper and correct manner within the Front Office. To this end, you build strong, long-term customer relationships with the aim of maximizing sales and margins. You know how to accurately assess organizational needs and engage the relevant stakeholders so that you achieve success together.

Additionally, you provide the right support to your team members regarding complex (customer-related) situations. By maintaining the schedule and monitoring processes (KPIs and dashboards), you ensure that operational activities are carried out according to standard operating procedures. For this, you work closely with all departments within MAG45. You strive for high customer satisfaction, which contributes to the overall success of the Front Office team. You report to the Manager Customer Service Office.

As a senior inside sales representative, you are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Being the first point of contact for our customers regarding operational issues;

• Providing support to the team in handling escalations and complex problems;

• Proactive process monitoring by means of monitoring internal and customer-specific KPIs;

• Proactively identifying contract and price list changes and managing them in consultation with Sales;

• Initiating points for improvement within the Front Office team.

Your qualifications as a senior inside sales representative:

• You have completed a higher professional education (HBO), preferably in a commercial direction;

• You have an affinity with technology;

• You have experience in a complex international trade or production environment;

• You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a complex inside sales role in a technical and commercial setting;

• You are available 40 hours per week and possess excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages;

• You have demonstrable experience working with an ERP system and Microsoft Office.
