About the company & team

As Team Lead Back Office, you play a crucial and connecting role in leading a team of 11 colleagues fulfilling the role of Back Office employee. These employees are responsible for following up on operational purchasing and sales processes in collaboration with other teams within the Customer Service Office. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that work is carried out in an effective and efficient manner.

You provide the right support, guidance, and coaching to your team members regarding optimally serving our customers. By maintaining the schedule and monitoring processes, you ensure that operational activities are executed according to standard operating procedures, in line with our KPIs and those of our customers. To achieve this, you work closely with all departments within MAG45. Your main focus lies on high customer and employee satisfaction, which contributes to the overall success of the team. You report to the Manager Customer Service Office.

As Team Lead Back Office, you are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

Daily management, coaching, and development of the Back Office team;
Monitoring capacity, work distribution, and operational continuity;
Monitoring KPIs, processes, and quality, and making timely adjustments where necessary;
Ensuring correct execution according to standard operating procedures (SOPs);
Supporting escalations, complex, and operational issues;
Identifying and realizing process and efficiency improvements;
Monitoring collaboration and agreements with other departments and suppliers;
Ensuring a professional, customer-oriented, and structured working environment.
You have completed a higher professional education (HBO) degree and have an affinity with technology;
You have experience in a complex international trade or production environment;
You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a leadership role;
You are available 40 hours per week and possess excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages;
You are a self-starter, solution-oriented, and assertive;
You are a strong communicator and possess analytical abilities;
You have demonstrable experience working with an ERP system and Microsoft Office;
You love the dynamics of an international working environment.
