Assistant Controller

As an Assistant Controller, you will contribute your part to the already ongoing growth of the organization. You are responsible for overseeing correct bookkeeping and the closing of one or more entities and support the Financial Controller in facilitating financial management information. Additionally, you will actively work on improving the financial processes within MAG45 and align them, in collaboration with the Financial Controller and the accounting team.

During your workday, you will be working on the following tasks:

• You ensure a correct, complete, and timely managed general ledger with the corresponding balance sheet file;

• You create a solid basis for the financial indicators (equity, financial KPIs);

• You actively communicate with the accounting team, who are responsible for the operational entries;

• You handle the internal and external reporting;

• Organizing and developing/updating the financial systems.

Financial management information

• You facilitate financial management information by providing administrative support and advice to the Financial Controller.

• You ensure high-quality administration and support the finance employees where necessary;

• You ensure that the financial information is correct, complete, insightful, timely, reliable, and relevant.

• Depending on your knowledge and experience, you will receive an attractive monthly salary in the range of € 4816 to € 6363 (based on the Technical Wholesale collective labor agreement);

The role of Assistant Controller is perfect for you if:

• You have an HBO professional and thinking level (preferably HEAO business economics) with at least 6 years of relevant (accounting) work experience within the financial sector.

• You have experience working in an ERP system;

• You have knowledge of bookkeeping in financial systems and Microsoft Office;

• You are available 40 hours per week;

• You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;
