MUMC+ is one of the eight academic hospitals in the Netherlands. The Intensive Care (ICU) of MUMC+ consists of five departments, of which four are adult ICUs with a total of 31 beds, divided across four units. The aim is to expand this number to 38 beds.
Due to the academic function of our hospital, you will encounter pathologies here that you rarely see elsewhere. This means that we treat complex and critically ill patients, where often multiple vital functions are disturbed simultaneously. Every day brings new challenges.
Our ICU offers a dynamic working environment in which innovation is central. We work with the latest treatment methods and advanced equipment, such as ECMO/ECLS to support heart and/or lung failure. Additionally, the work includes supplementary tasks such as SIT, IAT, and MICU.
There are also possibilities for a combined role, such as ICU-PICU, ICU-ER, ICU-CCU, or ICU-anesthesia.
The employment contract is entered into for an indefinite period based on article 2.3 of the Cao umc. We have possibilities for you between 24 and 36 hours per week. Therefore, part-time work is certainly possible! We will determine the number of contract hours in mutual consultation.
It is expected that you will work irregular shifts during evening, night, and weekend hours and public holidays.
