MBB Specialist MRI

As an MBB, you perform all common basic duties and, depending on the team, a number of specialist tasks. Because you practice the profession in its entirety as well as mentoring students and interns, your work is highly varied. The Imaging department consists of approximately ninety technicians. We find it important and a matter of course that you can support and rely on one another within the department and the team.

The Imaging department of Maastricht UMC+ provides diagnostic imaging. In addition to all standard examinations, use is made of MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Digital Mammography, Angiography & Intervention, PET-CT, PET MRI, and gamma cameras. As a technician, you rotate through various workstations within the department, which are necessary to maintain your basic skills. Additionally, you are assigned to one of the teams. In general terms, every team has the same set of tasks. The tasks existing within a team are distributed among the various team members. Equality was taken as the starting point in the composition of these teams.

The activities in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are versatile and challenging, whereby you are deployed in both low- and high-complexity care. You make an important contribution to a wide range of MRI examinations within a dynamic environment. Clinical care and academic research come together here, providing space to grow and develop within the field. Further specialization can be found in the various areas of focus: MRI safety and research. This makes working within our MRI team not only substantively interesting, but also meaningful and future-oriented.

To fill this vacancy, you have the qualification of MBB, you possess the MBRT diploma, or you expect to obtain this soon.

We are looking for a motivated colleague with an enthusiastic attitude towards MRI. You are a true team player, possess good communication skills, and can work in a large department with many different colleagues. Preferably, you already have work experience within this field, but even if you have the ambition and interest to further develop yourself and build your expertise, we cordially invite you to respond.

Working irregular shifts and on-call shifts is part of the job description.

To start successfully in this role, it is important that you have a good command of the Dutch language (minimum B2 level) due to contact with, among others, patients and colleagues. Additionally, it is a requirement that you are permitted to work in the Netherlands (EU/EEA nationality or a valid work permit).

Depending on education and experience, the salary is at least € 3,626 and at most € 5,134 gross per month for a full-time appointment. This salary is exclusive of irregular hours allowances, holiday pay, and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% of your gross annual salary.

It concerns an employment contract of 1 year for an average of 24-36 hours per week in accordance with article 2.4.2 Cao umc, being a temporary contract preceding an employment contract for an indefinite period as referred to in paragraph 3 of article 2.3 Cao umc.
