As a Radiology Medical Imaging Technologist, you play a crucial role in both the diagnostics and treatment of our patients.

We perform specialized oncological examinations, which means you will quickly gain in-depth knowledge in oncological imaging. You will enter a dynamic working environment in which you will be deployed all-round on CT, Bucky, and workflow. Additionally, depending on your ambitions, it is possible to specialize in Ultrasound, MRI, Intervention, and Mammography. For a number of these specializations, we offer post-HBO training. In addition to your daily activities in patient care, we would love for you to think along about the latest developments. We like to make use of your creativity in this regard. When you possess, for example, coordinating skills or enjoy developing them, you can also take on the extra task of day coordinator for patient programs.

The AVL has no ER or first aid, which means working night shifts is not necessary. However, we do have an evening shift that runs from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM. From 11:30 PM, you or another colleague will be on call (also known as an on-call service). For this, you do not need to be present in the hospital and you will be called when needed. We have day and evening shifts of 9 hours, whereby with a 36-hour contract (for example), you are free an extra day during the week!
