Receptionist | With Growth Opportunities Toward Assistant

You are the first and last face patients see, and you know that a warm welcome is half the battle. At KTI Hilversum, you will start as a receptionist in a pleasant, well-organized practice in the wooded surroundings of Hilversum. Are you curious about what happens in the treatment room? Then we will train you internally to become a dental assistant, so that in a combined role you work both at the front desk and at the chair.

What will you do?
At KTI Hilversum, you contribute to excellent patient care every day. You start at the front desk, where you:

• professionally and attentively receive patients at the desk and via the telephone

• schedule appointments, manage the agenda, and ensure everything runs smoothly

• accurately process patient data, prescriptions, and correspondence

• assess dental questions and pain complaints for urgency

• correctly handle complaints and involve the right colleagues

Growing toward the chair
After about six months, once you have mastered the front desk, we will start your internal training to become a dental assistant. Step by step, you will learn to assist with treatments, from check-ups to implantology and root canal treatments. This allows you to grow into a varied combined role, with the possibility to expand your hours.

• A contract for 16 to 20 hours per week at the front desk

• Internal training to become a dental assistant, with growth into a combined desk/chair role

• Possibility to expand your hours

• Salary appropriate to your experience and responsibility

• An organized practice with short lines and a collegial team

• Daytime working hours: the practice is open from Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and on Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM

• MBO 3 work and thinking level

• Experience in a customer-oriented or administrative role; experience in dentistry or oral care is a plus

• Eagerness to learn and interest in being trained internally as a dental assistant

• A patient-oriented, service-minded attitude

• Good command of the Dutch language

• You are a team player who is open to collaboration and feedback
