You can work within forensic clinics, protected housing, resocialization departments, and other forensic facilities. The intensity of care, target groups, and security levels vary per location.

As a supervisor within forensic care, you offer support to clients with complex care needs. Often, there is psychiatric issues, addiction issues, a mild intellectual disability, or a judicial background involved. You guide clients in their daily functioning, stimulate their development, and support them in increasing their independence.

• Identifying changes in behavior and acting adequately in complex situations.
• Stimulating self-reliance, recovery, and social participation.
• Reporting and collaborating with colleagues, practitioners, and other disciplines.
• Contributing to a safe living and working environment for clients and colleagues.

You choose for yourself which location you want to work in. If you want a fixed group and to build a bond, that is possible. If you prefer to alternate between locations and target groups, that is also possible.

• Salary in accordance with the Mental Healthcare Collective Labor Agreement (CAO), classification in function group 45: €3,180 to €4,273 gross per month based on 36 hours. Amounts as of July 1, 2026. Classification depends on your diploma and your experience.
• 8.33% holiday allowance, 8.33% year-end bonus, and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 44% at night, 38% to 49% on Saturday, and 60% on Sunday and public holidays. A Sunday shift therefore yields up to €41.60 per hour.

• A contract with fixed hours if you want that, from 16 to 36 hours per week. If you would rather be completely free, that is also possible.
• Holiday allowance, vacation days, travel expense reimbursement, and pension accrual. Simply arranged.
• A fixed contact person who knows you by name and who answers when you call.

• At least an mbo level 4 diploma or hbo diploma in the field of Care and Welfare, such as Personal Supervisor of Social Care, Social Work, Nursing, or a comparable education.
• Experience within forensic care, mental healthcare (GGZ), disability care, or addiction care is a plus.
• You are communicatively strong, stand firm in your shoes, and know how to act professionally in situations where tension or aggression may occur.
