• The Zuiderpoort elderly clinic is an inpatient ward with approximately 22 inpatient beds and a crisis bed. Our client population consists of elderly people (65+) with acute psychiatric problems. Within our clinic, we treat a wide range of issues in geriatric psychiatry, including psychoses, bipolar disorders, depressions, and personality disorders.

• We strive to provide the right support. Together with the client, their family, and an outpatient team, we immediately establish clear treatment goals and timelines. Our goal is to deliver effective and personalized care that aligns with the needs of our clients.

• Our multidisciplinary team consists of nurses, supervisors, psychiatrists, doctors, social workers, and occupational therapists. We have excellent partnerships with hospitals and other healthcare clinics and serve clients from a large part of the region.

• You will work in a team that is committed to providing the best possible care and guidance, where collaboration and professionalism are central.

• As a nurse at the clinics, you always work together. At GGZ inGeest, you provide structure and care to clients. You guide, observe, and signal changes in their physical and mental state. You do this not alone, but together with a multidisciplinary team.

• At GGZ inGeest, we strive to enable clients to participate in society to the best of their ability again. As a nurse, you contribute to this by working on the self-reliance of our clients.

• You draw up guidance plans, implement them, evaluate them, and adjust them if necessary. You signal crisis situations and offer support during interventions. You coordinate care with the team of practitioners and coordinate this in consultation with the client and their loved ones. Additionally, you provide support with activities of daily living (ADL), such as personal care and hygiene.

• You also play an active role in providing guidance and support to other team members, such as interns and students.

• You will receive a permanent employment contract immediately.

• The position is scaled in FWG 40/45/50 CAO GGZ.
