• You will be working at the elderly outpatient clinic. This outpatient clinic offers outpatient specialized care to clients over the age of 65 with complex, severe depression, complex severe anxiety, or a bipolar disorder.

  Do you want more depth? Then you can participate in the trauma train: an intensive treatment program for clients with multiple trauma, the so-called trauma train. • The outpatient clinic offers diagnostics, individual treatment, and group therapy such as interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), social rhythm therapy (SRT), and cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-i). Furthermore, we offer walking groups.

• You will be working in a multidisciplinary team with social psychiatric nurses, psychiatrists, specialists in geriatric medicine, doctors in training to become specialists (GP, internal geriatric medicine, psychiatry), GZ psychologists, basic psychologists and psychologists in training, music therapist, and medical interns.

• We provide care to the elderly from the Amsterdam and Haarlem locations.

• As a psychiatrist at outpatient clinics, you provide an active contribution to diagnostics and the creation, evaluation, and adjustment of treatment plans, and you participate in team meetings.

• Performing psychiatric diagnostics and making indications is part of your duties.

• You actively contribute to developments in policy and quality of care. You also participate, if applicable, as a practitioner in research treatments.

• Additionally, you play an active role in providing supervision and support to other team members, such as doctors in training, nurse practitioners, and GZ psychologists, to ensure the quality of care and to stimulate their professional development.

• We organize psychiatry and intervision evenings for inspiration and mutual cohesion.

• You participate in the psychiatrist on-call service of GGZ inGeest.

• This concerns a permanent position for at least 16 hours per week

• You will receive a permanent employment contract immediately. The position is scaled according to FWG AMS cao ggz.

• You will enter permanent employment at GGZ inGeest. Initially, you will be working within the elderly outpatient clinic. As soon as the current psychiatrist returns, we will look together for a suitable place within one of our other outpatient clinics. This provides space to also find a place in the long term that aligns well with your expertise and interests.
