You are BIG registered as a clinical psychologist.
Are you ready to change the future of mental healthcare? GGZ inGeest is looking for a clinical psychologist for our young adult outpatient clinic in Amsterdam. Work in a multidisciplinary team, contribute to innovative treatments, continue to develop yourself, and make a difference for our clients.
As a clinical psychologist, you have the role of lead practitioner. You perform intakes, draw up treatment plans, and ensure the execution of treatment plans within a multidisciplinary team. You also participate in case and work discussions.
An important part of your activities consists of providing evidence-based treatment according to the guidelines, such as CBT, IPT, CBASP, and trauma treatment. In addition, there is much attention at our clinic for (the treatment of) youth trauma in the history.
Additionally, you make an important contribution to the further professionalization and innovation of our care.
You offer work guidance and supervision to psychologists in training to become clinical psychologists and psychologists in training to become GZ-psychologists.
As an expert, you offer consultation and advice to other team members regarding complex cases. You share your knowledge and offer support in the development and implementation of treatment strategies.
You will be working at the young adult outpatient clinic. This outpatient clinic offers specialized outpatient care to clients aged 18 to 25 with multiple, complex issues. We see clients with diverse problems at the symptom level, developmental disorders, and personality issues.
Treatments we offer include CBT, EMDR, DBT, schema therapy, systemic therapy, and psychoeducation. New forms of therapy are still being developed, for example, movement therapy such as running therapy. In addition to regular individual treatments, work is done in groups and with systems. We have close cooperation with other care lines, the IHT, and clinics.
The multidisciplinary treatment team in Amsterdam, together with the treatment team in Haarlem, forms the young adult care line. The teams consist of psychiatrists, doctors, clinical and GZ-psychologists, basic psychologists, nurse practitioners, a psychotherapist, a systemic therapist, and a trajectory coordinator. Additionally, there are many trainees.
At GGZ inGeest, we also treat clients with trauma in every team, according to our vision Trauma First – even in cases of comorbidity.
Do you want more depth? Then you can participate in the trauma train: an intensive treatment program for clients with multiple trauma, the so-called trauma train. Colleagues from different teams and clusters work together in this and find it fun, educational, and interesting: "It provides variety and is a nice way of working together".
You will receive a permanent employment contract immediately.
The position is scaled in FWG 75 cao ggz.
At GGZ inGeest, we support you in your development, whether it is about deepening expertise, learning new skills, or increasing digital knowledge. You can read how we do this in the general terms and conditions.
