HBO Nurse Clinics

As a nurse at GGZ inGeest, you always work together. You do this at one of our clinics. Play an important role within the treatment team. Observe and signal changes and contribute to a safe and supportive environment. Together, we make the difference for our clients.

• You will come to work at one of our clinics in the Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Bennebroek region.

• The client population is very diverse and you will encounter all kinds of psychiatric conditions; from depression to addiction, from mania to psychosis or a combination thereof.

• In this role, together with a colleague, you form a personal guidance duo. Together, you keep an eye on the common thread of the treatment plan. 

• Dynamic every day; no client or treatment plan is the same.

• Our multidisciplinary teams are composed of nurses, psychiatrists, doctors, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists.

• Through clinical reasoning and good communication techniques, you ensure that the necessary interventions are deployed to accelerate the client's recovery. 

• You make assessments in the areas of somatics, medicinal interventions, guidance styles, and necessary freedoms to arrive, together with the practitioners, at as good a treatment climate as possible. 

• You are creative, whereby you can give clients as much autonomy as possible within a setting.

• You provide ADL and somatic care and support clients with everyday activities such as getting up and personal care.

• You draw up guidance plans and contribute to treatment plans.

• You perform part of the medical procedures, such as medication administration and wound care, yourself.

• You consult proactively with the psychiatrist and other practitioners to achieve the best result for the client.

• You also supervise student nurses and interns, participate in working groups, and coordinate with various chain partners such as the police, neighborhood managers, GPs, and RIBWs.

• You will work at a GGZ inGeest location in Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Hoofddorp, Haarlem, or Bennebroek.

• You have completed an MBO-4 education in nursing or social community services, or a completed HBO education as a nurse or social-pedagogical care provider.

• You will receive a permanent employment contract immediately.

• The position is scaled in FWG 45/50  CAO GGZ.
