Are you an experienced veterinary nurse who loves taking on more responsibility and looks beyond the daily tasks in the clinic? Do you see opportunities to improve work processes, help colleagues further, and take the organization to a higher level? And do you have the ambition to grow into a role as a branch manager? Then this is your chance!
For AniCura Veterinary Clinic Rotterdam, we are looking for an experienced all-round veterinary nurse for 32 hours per week, who wants to further develop towards leadership and practice management.
This new position offers you the chance to shape your role together with us. We look at your experience and qualities, but also at what our clinics need. This way, you can not only develop yourself, but also actually contribute to the further growth and improvement of our organization.
You combine your work as an all-round veterinary nurse with a broader role in the organization of the clinic. You remain involved in the daily practice and, in addition, receive the space to take on more responsibility and implement improvements.
Your duties include:
Working in the clinic: you support the veterinarians, colleagues, and clients and remain involved in daily patient care.
Improving the daily organization: you think along about work processes, planning, and collaboration, and take the initiative to set things up more smartly and efficiently.
Supporting and motivating colleagues: you contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere, help colleagues further, and take the lead where necessary.
Further developing the branch: you identify opportunities to improve the quality of our services and the collaboration within the team, and help translate these ideas into concrete actions.
Gaining management experience: you get the opportunity to take on more coordinating and leadership responsibilities, matching your development and the needs of the clinic.
We will determine the precise content of your duties in consultation. In doing so, you will be given the space to utilize your qualities and further develop within the frameworks and vision of AniCura.
The special thing about this position is that you are not stepping into a strictly defined role. We are looking for someone who loves to think along, sees opportunities, and enjoys discovering with us how this position can offer the most added value.
Where can work processes be more efficient? How can we strengthen the collaboration within the team? And which changes help us to further improve care and organization?
You will be given the space to think along about this and to take the lead yourself in improvements. Naturally, you will do this in collaboration with colleagues and management, with guidance that matches your experience and ambitions.
We will also determine the work location in consultation. Together, we will look at where your qualities can best be utilized and where you can make the most impact within our clinics in Rotterdam.
You will join a versatile organization with multiple branches, where we offer both primary and secondary care. Within our organization, 19 veterinarians and 25 veterinary nurses work together to provide good veterinary care.
We offer a working environment in which different expertise comes together and where there is room to learn from each other. You will work together with experienced colleagues and management on the further development of our clinics.
We are looking for an experienced veterinary nurse who knows the daily practice well and is ready for a broader role within the clinic.
You recognize yourself in this:
You are a qualified veterinary nurse and possess a valid CIBG registration.
You have extensive experience as an all-round veterinary nurse and know what is needed to make a clinic run well.
You take initiative, see opportunities for improvement, and take the lead in this.
You communicate easily, enjoy working together, and know how to involve colleagues in a positive way.
You can maintain an overview, set priorities, and switch between daily practice and organizational issues.
You are interested in leadership, team development, and practice management. Experience with leadership is a plus, but not a requirement.
A position with room for initiative: you get the chance to propose ideas and actually implement improvements.
Growth opportunities towards branch manager: you build experience with coordinating and leadership responsibilities.
A varied position for 32 hours per week: you combine your profession as a veterinary nurse with organizational tasks.
A work location in consultation: together we determine which location best aligns with your qualities and the needs of our clinics.
An experienced and committed team: you work together with colleagues who are dedicated daily to providing good veterinary care.
Guidance and development opportunities: we look at which support and training fit your next step.
A modern working environment: our clinics possess various diagnostic and treatment techniques, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, blood analysis, and CT.
Good employment conditions: a suitable salary based on your experience and responsibilities, participation in the pension fund, and full reimbursement of travel expenses.
Do you want to use your experience as a veterinary nurse to not only provide good care, but also contribute to a better organized and further developing clinic?
We would love to meet you. Tell us what motivates you, what ideas you have, and how you see yourself growing in this new position.
