·        At least an HBO (higher professional education) level in a technical – business administration direction.

·        Experience with asset or maintenance management based on DBM contracts in a complex technical environment.

·        At least four years of relevant work experience in the field of building maintenance.

·        Management experience, for example as a project leader or coordinator, contract manager, or senior work planner.

·        A Certificate of Conduct (VOG). You need this to be allowed to work in the courthouse in Almelo.

• The salary for this position is between € 5,005.- and € 7,049.- gross per month (based on 40 hours), excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.

• 43 vacation days with the possibility to have 13 of them paid out.

As project manager, you carry a great responsibility: you ensure that all agreements and requirements from the contract are translated into practice. The ultimate goal is that this modern and high-security building is áltijd operational during the maintain phase.

As the connecting factor between the design and execution team, the client and user, and the contract manager, you coordinate and organize all processes for a proper execution of the agreements.

You have influence on the unique Design, Build & Maintain contract that Dura Vermeer is executing in collaboration with the Central Government Real Estate Agency. (Dura Vermeer is building the new courthouse in Almelo).

After completion at the end of 2027, a maintenance period of no less than 15 years begins. In the period leading up to completion, you are the central pivot in guaranteeing quality, design choices, entering into collaborations with suppliers and subcontractors, and preparing the contract team for the maintain phase. Together with the team, you build a sustainable collaboration in which reliability is central.

Within this contract, everything revolves around performance. Availability in the maintain phase is crucial: every minute counts. You ensure that the building does what we have agreed, that the assets are maintainable and accessible, and that the right materials are selected.

Because if a courtroom is unavailable for too long during the maintain phase, it has a direct impact—also financially.

The Courthouse Almelo is a dynamic environment with diverse spaces and high security requirements: from offices and courtrooms to interrogation rooms and the detention area. That makes your work challenging and varied. You are continuously looking for improvement. You manage based on demonstrable results and smart optimizations. Together with the contract manager, you form a strong team and actively maintain contact with the client, users, and other stakeholders.

Additionally, you work closely with colleagues and suppliers to raise the quality and performance of the building to a higher level. Precisely now, while construction is still in full swing, you are stepping in. Now is when the difference can be made! Together with the contract manager, you prepare for the operational phase, so that it gets off to a flying start at the end of 2027.
