Project Manager Water Chain

Integrating new sludge removal systems at sewage treatment plants, designing post-treatment installations, and conducting studies on the sludge chain: everything comes up in a role at Aveco de Bondt! Then we are looking for you as our new Project Manager Water Chain!

We are looking for a Project Manager Water Chain. You will execute projects for the entire Water & Climate Business Line. With your substantive knowledge of the water chain and (waste) water treatment, you know how to achieve good results with the integrated projects of Aveco de Bondt. As a project manager, you are responsible for acquiring and managing the execution of water-related assignments, with a focus on wastewater treatment. You primarily carry out these assignments for water boards, from Noorderzijlvest to Aa en Maas. A project manager with a network in this market or someone who builds a network easily is a plus.

The Project Manager we are looking for has a broad perspective and an interest in diverse projects in the fields of water treatment, water safety, and water systems. You are responsible for project results, both financially and qualitatively. You translate project objectives into scenarios and make decisions regarding budgets in consultation with the Business Unit Manager. Additionally, you are able to create a good (work) atmosphere, both for colleagues and clients. Training and supporting less experienced colleagues is also part of your job as Project Manager.

For a Project Manager, it is important to be present at client project locations. On average, you will be working at project locations throughout the Netherlands half of the week. Furthermore, you will primarily work together with the team at the office in Nieuwegein.

Location: Nieuwegein (hybrid working possible)
Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
Salary indication: €4900 to €8000 gross per month based on 40 hours

• A technical HBO (applied sciences) or WO (university) background;

• Extensive work experience within the field of water, the water chain, (waste) water treatment, and/or water systems;

• An entrepreneurial, social, and pragmatic attitude;

• A relevant network within the water boards in the Netherlands, and you are able to leverage this network for assignments.
