Projects Manager

You are a strong, structured leader who maintains an overview and shows ownership.

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree with a technical background
• Extensive experience in realizing complex investment projects within a production environment
• Strong skills in planning, organizing, and prioritizing
• You handle change well and maintain course, even in the face of setbacks
• Demonstrable experience in leadership and developing teams
• You communicate clearly and persuasively, in Dutch and English

Stagnation is decline. That is why we continuously invest in our production sites at Aviko. In Steenderen, this means a well-filled project portfolio: from replacement investments to complex sustainability and optimization projects.

As Projects Manager, you provide direction to this development. You are responsible for the local project organization and ensure that technical investment projects are successfully realized from idea to delivery. You are part of the Management Team of Site Steenderen and thereby have a direct influence on the future of the location.

You lead a team of 5 Project Engineers and Lead Engineers. Together, you form the local project organization of Steenderen. The team works closely with production, technical service, purchasing, and finance.

You report directly to the Site Director Steenderen and act as an important link between the site and the Corporate Technical Project Department.

As Projects Manager, you lead the local project organization of Aviko Steenderen. You bring structure and direction to the entire investment portfolio and ensure that projects are executed in a controlled manner from initiative through to delivery.

• Together with the involved stakeholders, you draw up the Multi-Year Investment Plan (MJIP) and translate this into clear priorities and a realistic project schedule
• You monitor the coherence, progress, and available capacity within the total project portfolio
• You ensure that investment projects are realized according to the agreed scope, planning, budgets, and applicable quality and safety standards
• You lead the Project Engineers and Lead Engineers, set clear frameworks, and support them with complex issues and important project decisions
• You further develop the team and stimulate ownership, collaboration, and a professional way of project-based working
• You ensure good decision-making and coordination between production, technical service, purchasing, finance, and other involved disciplines
• You maintain visibility on opportunities, dependencies, and risks and adjust in a timely manner when projects threaten to deviate
• You report to the Site Director on the progress, financial development, and most important points of attention within the project portfolio
• You form the connecting link between Site Steenderen and the Corporate Technical Project Department
• As a member of the Management Team, you actively contribute to the technical and strategic development of the location
