Minters plays an important role in the municipalities of Vlaardingen, Maassluis, and Schiedam by proactively searching for opportunities to strengthen the resilience of citizens within the Social Domain. This takes place, among other things, in neighborhoods, at schools, and at GP practices. Our goal is to strengthen the self-reliance and community-reliance of residents, so that no or as little as possible of more intensive or expensive assistance is needed: not problematizing, but normalizing. Not because it must, but because it can.
At Minters, we attach great value to quality through transparency and entrepreneurship. In 2019, we were the first to receive the 'Sterk Sociaal Werk' quality label for our neighborhood teams, and we continue to meet the requirements for this label for our entire organization. Our ambition is to be nationally recognized as a professional and entrepreneurial social service provider.
