As a Family, Personal and Inheritance Law Jurist, you are the sparring partner for entrepreneurs, families, and colleagues regarding diverse legal issues. You advise, among other things, on prenuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, wills, gifts, estates, and business succession.
No two situations are the same. One time you might guide a family through the transfer of wealth to the next generation, and the next time you might think along about a suitable legal structure for an entrepreneurial couple. In doing so, you work closely with tax specialists, accountants, and business advisors to provide clients with integral advice.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
Advising on family, personal, and inheritance law;
Drafting and reviewing legal documents;
Guiding complex files regarding estates and business succession;
Sparring with clients and colleagues about legal issues;
Guiding and coaching less experienced colleagues;
Maintaining long-term client relationships.
You work with entrepreneurs in the agricultural and SME sectors. These are often family businesses where business and private interests are closely intertwined.
It is precisely at the moments when important choices must be made that you make the difference. Whether it concerns a will, business succession, or protecting family wealth: your advice helps clients move forward.
You are a jurist who is not only strong in substance but also enjoys building relationships. You know how to make complex legal issues understandable and enjoy guiding clients personally.
In addition, you bring:
A completed university degree in Notarial Law or Dutch Law;
At least 4 years of relevant work experience within family, personal, and inheritance law;
Strong communication skills;
A proactive and customer-oriented attitude.
You become part of the Tax-Legal team within the West Cluster. Together with colleagues, you support clients with various issues. Within the West Cluster, you work from our offices in Emmeloord, Dronten, and Zeewolde. Here, colleagues with different specialisms work closely together to provide optimal support to entrepreneurs. The atmosphere is characterized as committed, professional, and collegial. We help each other, share knowledge, and believe in growing together.
Are you an experienced jurist with a passion for family, personal, and inheritance law and do you want to guide entrepreneurs and families through important legal choices? Become curious? Come and meet us and discover what Countus can mean for you!
