Your duties will include, among other things:

• Booking and processing financial administrations;

• Supporting the preparation of annual accounts;

• Preparing income tax and corporate tax returns;

• Preparing reports and financial statements;

• Identifying opportunities and points of attention within client files;

• Collaborating with accountants, tax specialists, and business advisors within the team.

What will my work as a Junior Assistant Accountant look like?

As a Junior Assistant Accountant, you will lay a solid foundation for your career within accountancy. You will support entrepreneurs with their financial and administrative issues and contribute to reliable financial reports and insights.

You will start with basic tasks and receive more responsibility step by step. Together with experienced colleagues, you will work on annual accounts, tax returns, and financial reports. This allows you to further develop yourself within the profession and discover which direction suits you best.

You will work for a varied client portfolio consisting of SME entrepreneurs and businesses within the agricultural sector. As a result, you will deal with different companies, issues, and entrepreneurs.

Through personal contact, you will get to know clients and their businesses well. Together with colleagues, you will help them move forward with reliable figures, practical insights, and expert advice.

You will work within the accountancy team of Countus Groenlo, where you will collaborate with accountants, assistant accountants, tax specialists, and business advisors. Together, you will support entrepreneurs with various financial, tax, and business issues.

The Groenlo location is part of Cluster Oost, along with the Markelo, Hardenberg, and Enschede locations. Within this cluster, various disciplines work closely together, allowing you to learn from experienced colleagues and make use of a wide network of knowledge and expertise.
