As Senior Corporate Counsel, you are a strategic sparring partner for managers and domain directors. From the very first moment, you are involved in new propositions, strategic projects, and important decisions, ensuring that legal considerations are a direct part of the course we sail. You think along about innovative ideas, customer journeys, and service delivery, and help Greenchoice seize opportunities in an energy market that is constantly changing due to new laws and regulations.

You operate independently within your own stakeholder field and take ownership of legal issues from idea to execution. You advise on consumer law, contracts, and customer-oriented service, assess terms and conditions, and translate complex regulations into clear choices and practical solutions. One moment you are working on a new commercial proposition, the next you are guiding a complex project or implementing new legislation. In this way, you have a direct influence on the development of our products, services, and organization.

• Provide legal guidance for new products, propositions, and strategic projects from idea to implementation and launch.

• Advise managers, domain directors, and project teams on important decision-making, new laws and regulations, and complex legal issues.

• Assess, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts and connect legal frameworks with the interests of the business

The Legal & Compliance team grows along with the developments within Greenchoice. That is why we are expanding our team. You will become part of a dedicated team of lawyers, compliance, and privacy specialists. We work closely together, share knowledge, and help each other with complex issues. At the same time, you will have plenty of room to operate independently and take responsibility for your own areas of focus and stakeholder relationships. • A gross monthly salary of € 5,157.00 to € 7,367.00, based on a 40-hour work week, excluding 8% holiday allowance.

• An individual choice budget of 8.33% of your gross annual salary, which you can use to make your own choices in your terms of employment. For example, you can have this amount paid out or use it to buy extra days off. You can also donate (part of) the amount to a good cause through our partnership with The Social Handshake.

• A performance-oriented bonus of up to two gross monthly salaries per year.

• 26 vacation days if you work full-time and 8 hours per year to dedicate to volunteer work of your choice.

You are analytical, curious, and connecting. You move easily between strategy and execution and know how to translate complex legal issues into pragmatic solutions. You are independent, take ownership, and build strong relationships with stakeholders within the organization. In a dynamic environment, you maintain an overview, bring different interests together, and dare to take a position when necessary.

In addition, you have:

• At least 8 years of experience as a Corporate Counsel, Legal Counsel, or lawyer in a commercial environment.

• Extensive experience in assessing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts. Knowledge of consumer law is a plus, or you are motivated to master this area of law quickly.

• Experience advising management and providing practical legal advice in an environment where commercial and legal interests converge.
