Will you help build our new audit location in Enschede? As an Audit Manager at Countus, you will be given the space to apply your experience for quality, clients, and colleagues. As an Audit Manager, you manage a portfolio regarding quality, efficiency, and timeliness. Together with the external accountant, you hold responsibility for quality and ensure cohesion, clear expectations, and sustainable performance within the department.

Your duties include

• You manage the portfolio regarding quality, efficiency, and timeliness;

• You develop teams and monitor progression and staffing;

• You hold responsibility for quality together with the external accountant;

• You resolve complex bottlenecks in execution and collaboration;

• You maintain client relationships and monitor expectations;

• You recognize talent, remove obstacles, and create a safe working climate;

• You contribute to the further development of the new location in Enschede.

You bring:

• You are registered as an RA with the NBA;

• At least 7 years of relevant work experience within the audit/assurance practice;

• Experience as an Audit Manager; an experienced audit leader ready for this role is also welcome;

• Strong professional judgment and a professional-critical attitude;

• You can communicate at various levels, including at the board level;

• You recognize talent and know how to empower people;

• You are clear in your expectations and believe that an agreement is truly an agreement;

• You have the motivation to help build a new location and to commit yourself to the role for the long term.

You will work within Countus Audit from our new location in Enschede. You will work together with colleagues within the audit practice and, together with the external accountant, share responsibility for the quality of the audit outcomes.
