Senior Corporate Lawyer

In the Legal Advisory team at Van Oers, you will work together with 5 other colleagues to help entrepreneurs and organizations turn legal challenges into opportunities. As a Senior Corporate Lawyer, you will work on legal issues in the field of corporate law in a broad sense. You will provide advice on restructurings. You will be involved in guiding business acquisitions and you will conduct due diligence investigations. You will set up (international) corporate law structures. In short, a position in which you can fully utilize your legal expertise. In addition to corporate and company law, various areas of law converge in this position. That makes it particularly challenging!

A glimpse of your tasks:

• You provide clients with all facets of an acquisition process, playing a role in, among others, our legal due diligence services, transaction documentation, and legal corporate post-closing care;

• You communicate independently with various disciplines within our organization and with external parties;

• You draft commercial agreements within corporate and contract law;

• You identify advisory needs;

• You maintain contact with the client, answer questions, and ensure timely updates on ongoing matters.

You are a powerful sparring partner. You have a sensitive and analytical ability. You are proactive, integer, accurate, and organized. Additionally, you are a team player, communicatively skilled, and find it no problem to give people feedback.

Furthermore, we ask:

• You have a completed WO Master's in Dutch Law, preferably in Corporate Law;

• You have at least 8 years of experience in the field of Corporate Law;

• You have an excellent command of the Dutch language;

• A specialist in one or more of the following areas of law: corporate law, contract law, mergers and acquisitions, liability law, and insolvency law.
