What will my work as an Accountant AA & Entrepreneurial Advisor Agro look like?

As an Accountant AA & Entrepreneurial Advisor Agro, you are the trusted advisor to agricultural entrepreneurs. You combine your financial and tax knowledge with business insight and help clients with both daily operations and strategic issues for the future.

You maintain close contact with clients, identify opportunities and risks, and bring together the right specialists to provide optimal support to clients. In doing so, you are not only responsible for the quality of the service provided, but also for further strengthening the client relationship.

Your duties include

• Preparing, reviewing, and discussing annual accounts and financial reports;

• Advising on tax, business economics, and strategic issues;

• Guiding entrepreneurs with investment, financing, and business development issues;

• Maintaining and further expanding sustainable client relationships;

• Managing, guiding, and coaching colleagues within the team;

• Identifying opportunities within the agricultural sector and translating these into appropriate advice.

You will work for a wide group of agricultural entrepreneurs, from family businesses to innovative leaders within the sector. They rely on your knowledge and advice regarding issues surrounding business operations, returns, growth, and future-proofing.

Together with specialists in the fields of taxation, accountancy, legal advice, and business consultancy, you help clients make well-considered choices in a sector that is constantly in motion.

You recognize yourself in:

• A completed HBO degree in Accountancy;

• An AA title or the ambition to obtain one;

• Experience as a signing accountant or in a similar advisory role;

• Affinity with the agricultural sector;

• Strong communication and advisory skills;

• The ability to proactively guide clients through financial and strategic issues.

You will work within the Agro Business team Zwolle, a team of approximately 35 professionals with diverse expertise. Together, you support agricultural entrepreneurs with financial, tax, and strategic issues.

Sharing knowledge, collaborating, and strengthening one another are central within the team. The culture is open, down-to-earth, and involved. Colleagues easily seek each other out for consultation and regularly spar about complex client issues. This allows you to keep learning and continue to develop yourself.
