• You have a completed WO Master's in Dutch Law, preferably in Employment Law;

• You have at least 8 years of experience in the field of Employment Law and in an advisory role;

• You have an excellent command of the Dutch language.

In the Legal Advisory team at Van Oers, you will help entrepreneurs and organizations turn legal challenges into opportunities, together with 5 other colleagues. Every stage of entrepreneurship can present legal issues, and our jurists lead the way by proactively advising and guiding clients. In this way, we prevent conflicts and create room to grow. Whether it concerns employment law, corporate law, contract law, tenancy law, privacy law, personal and family law, real estate or agricultural law, or disputes, our jurists combine experience with a strong knowledge base to always offer the best solutions.

As a Senior Employment Law Jurist at Van Oers, you will get the space to handle files independently, but you will also take on a visible role in client trajectories and internal projects. You will actively contribute to the further development of the employment law practice within Van Oers. You are a strong sparring partner for entrepreneurs, HR professionals, and colleagues. You make complex subject matter understandable and dare to provide clear choices and direction, especially when situations are sensitive or interests diverge. Additionally, you make an important contribution to the team. You actively share your knowledge and mentor junior colleagues.

A glimpse of your tasks:

• You independently provide legal advice on complex employment law issues;

• You independently prepare more complex legal documents, such as employment contracts, settlement agreements, and staff regulations;

• You provide guidance during reorganizations, dismissal procedures, and employment conflicts;

• You mediate in employment conflicts and disputes regarding reintegration;

• You build and maintain client relationships with internal and external stakeholders;

• You coach (junior) jurists.
