As an Audit Manager at Countus Audit, you are responsible for the smooth and high-quality execution of audit engagements for clients throughout the Netherlands. You lead audit teams, monitor the progress and quality of files, and act as an important link between the team, the client, and the External Auditor.

You plan and coordinate the audit work, audit the most complex financial statement items, and contribute to a timely and substantive review of the files. Together with the External Auditors, you prepare audit reports and discuss them with the client. You maintain continuous oversight, communicate clearly about the status of the audit, and adjust where necessary.

In addition to your professional role, you play an important role in the development of the team. You supervise assistants and senior assistants, stimulate their growth, and know how to combine professionalism with pleasant, open collaboration—with room for humor.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Planning and coordinating audit engagements and team meetings;

• Auditing complex financial statement items;

• Reviewing audit files and monitoring quality and deadlines;

• Preparing and discussing audit reports with External Auditors and clients;

• Leading, supervising, and developing audit teams;

• Actively contributing to the further growth and professionalization of Countus Audit.

You have several years of experience within audit practice and are ready for a role with more responsibility and impact. Have you completed the theoretical part of your studies and are you still looking for a place to gain practical experience? Even then, we offer you good guidance from this role.

You are in the final stages of your RA/AA studies or have already obtained them. You have gained several years of work experience in audit practice and would like to apply this knowledge.
