At BDO Risk Advisory – Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance, you do that together with a close-knit team of driven colleagues. As a Junior Consultant Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance, you will work on diverse issues in the fields of risk management, internal control, governance and compliance.

Under the guidance of experienced colleagues and a personal mentor, you will develop yourself into a versatile advisor. You will perform audits, support clients in identifying and managing risks, and help organizations comply with laws and regulations. In doing so, you will work for national and international organizations, including listed companies, financial institutions, insurers, pension funds, and other organizations with complex governance and compliance issues.

In this role, you combine the analytical and independent perspective of Internal Audit with the advisory aspects of Risk & Compliance. You analyze processes, identify risks, assess the effectiveness of control measures, and advise clients on improvements to their internal control environment. Additionally, you support the development of policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks, and help organizations strengthen an integral and controlled business operation.

You are curious about developments within the field and investigate how technology, data analysis, AI, ESG, and soft controls can help organizations manage risks more effectively and be better in control. Through your insights, you contribute to sustainable value creation and the trust clients have in their organization.

At BDO, we work closely with other specialties, including Technology Risk Assurance, Cybersecurity, and Forensics & Technology. This allows you to quickly build a broad network and gives you the opportunity to get acquainted with various fields within Advisory.
