• HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of work and thinking;

• Strong analytical ability;

• 2 years of relevant work experience in finance;

• Experience in the logistics sector is desired, not required;

As a Financial Controller at Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, you play a crucial role in reporting on, monitoring, and improving our financial health in an environment that never stands still. With a keen eye, you will oversee our financial processes and ensure accurate administration that is constantly being optimized.

Within our diverse finance team, you are the point of contact for the business's sales and purchasing processes. Your base will be our headquarters "The Tube" in Tilburg, where you will work in a dynamic environment with plenty of room for your own input and innovation.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for monitoring and analyzing sales and purchasing processes and taking adequate actions if necessary;

• You process transactions in the subledger during the month-end closing, ensuring that accurate and complete administration is presented in line with accounting principles;

• You make a proactive contribution to maintaining and optimizing the record to report process by always assessing current processes and integrating business initiatives in the correct manner;

• You are positively critical and always looking for improvements within the processes;

• You participate in various finance projects within the Finance department of RWS;

• You ensure an optimal course for our annual audit;

• You analyze financial data, both requested and unsolicited.

You are an energetic and open finance professional looking for the second step in your career, preferably with experience within a multinational. You enjoy an informal, result-oriented, and changing environment. As a financial professional, you are above average in being process-oriented, analytical, and proactive.
