The role

What you'll do

As an Audit Manager within Valaston, you will coordinate high-quality audit engagements from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating a portfolio of statutory and voluntary financial statement audits;
Mentoring less experienced colleagues;
Reviewing files and acting as a working team leader within engagements;
Drafting management letters and formulating clear, practical recommendations for clients;
Contributing to the further development of our technical knowledge and participating in (international) technical initiatives;
Supporting acquisition activities, including the preparation of proposals;
Maintaining client relationships and acting as a sparring partner for management and stakeholders;
Working from our office in Voorburg (The Hague), with the possibility of traveling abroad to support international clients.

What you will need

You are a Chartered Accountant (RA)
5 to 8 years of relevant work experience as an accountant
Preferably with experience in financial services
